Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee

One of the Chiles' racing clan and new for 2011, Lee's racing a Charger SRT8 limited edition black-on-black Super Bee. It's got a few mods, so expect Lee to be writing a number beginning with 12 pretty soon.

Previously, Lee has raced a 5.9 litre / 360ci Dakota, which ran a best at 14.69, very respectable for a straight-from-the-showroom truck. Wide-awake consistency has ensured Lee has been doing lots of winning in recent seasons; including championships of American Super Stock and Sportsman ET, as well as PDRC Points Champion and the Most Consistent Reaction Time.

And for 2009, Lee was racing his Dodge Charger R/T Hemi -the 2006 rendition. Lee was playing some sort of electronic tune to the motor and wringing low 13s out of that Charger.

But Lee claims his red lights are getting to be a lot more consistent; although he's usually up there with the front runners. 

The Super Bee came with a Diablo (flash tune device), Mopar exhaust, Mopar air intake and also 20" drag radials. Lee is also looking at a supercharger but not yet, "unless I have a Lotto win!" Lee hopes his new Charger will get into the 12s and possibly 11s with a blower -when he can afford it.
